Sport Chek Regional Kinder Series Championships

 

 

The Sport Chek Regional Finals wrapped up this weekend at Marmot Basin with 145 participants, ages 11-18 years old, competing in GS and SL events.

One of the highlights of the series championship weekend is the turkey dinner Saturday night at the Jasper Recreation Centre that serves the 360 racers, coaches, and family members in attendance.

The joint north zone ROC was led by Rob Seal and Doug Airey.

According to Seal, Race Chair, the event seems to get better each year.

"I’m really happy with how the weekend has gone. For me, working with great athletes, coaches, volunteers, and Marmot Basin is what keeps me coming back each year."

Following Sunday’s SL, the overall series winners were recognized with gift cards to Sport Chek.
